*In 2004, Kitchen was commissioned to write the biography of an entrepreneur who worked for the British Air Commission during WWII. (See AUTHOR.) In addition, in 2005, she was endorsed by the Miss America Organization to publish an authorized biography collection of 38 former Miss Americas. (No longer in print.)

WRITER: Kitchen authored 65 articles on Macular Degeneration for an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Feature articles have been published by: Los Angeles Herald Examiner, San Diego Union, Arizona Republic Sunday Magazine, The Disciple, Alaska Magazine, Arizona Healthy Living, San Diego Today, Resource Recovery (national science magazine), The Coordinator (national journalism award), Life Extension Foundation (national), and others. She has written more than 700 keynote addresses for mayors, city managers, other government officials and celebrities.

EDITOR: Kitchen has edited 20-plus manuscripts for fellow authors. As editor for multiple high-end, corporate newsletters and magazines, she developed annual report magazines from concept through execution for the City of Virginia Beach and HealthOne, the largest health-care system in Colorado. As Homebound Minister for First Baptist Church-Greensboro, she was editor for The Tie that Binds, an inspirational newsletter for seniors.
